We are planning our third Disney World trip! We would like to stay in the new Art of Animation Little Mermaid rooms, but we are a little concerned about having a lengthy walk to and from the bus stop. Do you know about how long it takes? Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer!

I had the chance to tour the Art of Animation on opening day.  It is a gorgeous resort!  While the Little Mermaid section was not open yet, we could see the building from the parking lot.  It's not as far away as it seems and it looks like if you walk on the sidewalk runs along the parking lot, you will get to the bus stops faster.  If you are looking at the resort, the bus stops are to the left of the lobby entrance, just like the All-Star resorts.  The Little Mermaid buildings are also to the left.  Take a look at the Art of Animation resort map.  You can see the bus stops at the bottom of the map.  Follow the path along the parking lot to building 9, which starts the Little Mermaid section.  It is not as far as it seems.  I would estimate it to be between a 5 and 10 minute walk, depending on how fast/slow little feet go.

    Have a magical day!
