    We are planning on going to the taping of the Christmas parade and I was wondering if it is the weekend of Thanksgiving or the weekend after this year since there are 5 weeks in November. Does it make a difference if you are a passholder?

    Hi there, Jami!

    Typically, the parade taping will happen early in December, generally the first weekend in December, but that is by no means locked in stone. Historically, the parade has started taping on that Friday, but again, this is by no means guaranteed.

    The date will be released without much warning, and you'll have to be pretty quick on the draw to get a ticket.

    The taping is open to all Guests.

    Your best source for information is the Disney Parks Blog. When event news breaks, you will be able to find it out immediately via the blog.
