Hi we are planning on taking our 3yr old and 4 month old do both of them need to have a negative covid test done too and since we live in Texas do we get it here or do we need to have it get done in california?

Hi there, Rubi. Welcome to planDisney. We’re so glad you’ve stopped by with your question for us.

I bet you’re excited to return to a land of Magic in a few weeks! Soon you and your family will be able to experience all the pixie-dusted fun at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Rubi, while it’s strongly recommended by the State of California for all Guests to be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test result prior to entering, Disneyland Resort is not requiring proof (of vaccination status or negative COVID-19 test result) at this time. When you’re outdoors, masks remain optional; however, as of July 30th, 2021, all Guests (ages 2 and up) are required to wear masks indoors, including on many attractions.

Be sure to visit Disneyland.com or Disney Parks Blog periodically for the latest park news; because this pandemic situation is constantly evolving, so are the updates and changes to park operations. If you have additional trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to write us again. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
