Hi, Jasmin!
Welcome, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I’m glad to hear you’ll be able to visit to the
Disneyland Resort to experience
Plaza de la Familia, a celebration of the colorful world of Coco and Día de los Muertos, which will be offered in Disney California Adventure Park through November 4!
Halloween decor will begin to come down immediately after the parks close on the evening of October 31. Winter holiday decorations and other seasonal extras begin appearing around the resort in early November, with the exception of the
Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction overlay, which is complete around late September and remains through the holiday season until early January. In my experience, Christmas holiday decor is gradually added at night when the theme parks are closed and is complete by second week of November. The
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will officially begin on November 9 this year, so while your visit is a bit too early in the month to experience all the special offerings, such as the "Believe...In Holiday Magic" fireworks show or A Christmas Fantasy Parade, I suspect you’ll begin to see some winter holiday touches popping up in the theme parks during your time in the parks!
I hope this helps you make plans for your visit with your little one, Jasmin. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
