DH & I are planning on taking our DS-11 & DS-6 to WDW in Oct. We'd like a hotel that is a nice mix for us and the kids. I've been looking at the Carrib Beach Res, but am concerned about the negative reviews I've seen? What would be ur suggestion?

My family really enjoys the Caribbean Beach Resort. Yes, it's large and spread out but the winding paths and small courtyards give it a charming feel.

We like to stay in the Jamaica village. While it's a bit of a walk to the food court and pool area, the walkway over two bridges and a small island is beautiful!

The food court offers a good variety and seating is plentiful.

The pool area has a zero-entry depth main pool with a slide. And the play structure in the shape of a pirate ship is a great place for younger kids to cool off.

The rooms are the largest of the moderate resorts.

When not staying in Jamaica, we like to opt for a pirate room. Ahoy, matey!
