Hi there! We’re planning on taking a trip in the Summer and celebrating a couple of birthdays (twins) but it looks like we’ll miss being in the park on the actual date. Can we still get badges for them to celebrate their unbirthdays in the Park? Thanks

    Howdy Rebecca!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love to celebrate my birthday at the Disneyland Resort because a day at Disneyland is like one giant party! I often can’t make it on my actual birthday, but that doesn’t stop me from swinging by Guest Relations to grab a complimentary birthday button for myself. Make sure to get a couple for the twins too! They’ll love that Cast Members wish them a Happy Birthday all day long! Feel free to get an “I’m Celebrating” button for yourself! You’re celebrating with them, right?

If you’re looking for a special way to add a little pixie dust to the birthday trip, book a dining reservation! My favorites include Blue Bayou Restaurant at Disneyland Park and Lamplight Lounge at Disney California Adventure Park. Of course, there’s always Character Dining if the twins would like to celebrate with some of their favorite Disney Pals! Also, you can add a birthday cake to your dining reservation! This can be done on the Disneyland website, on the Disneyland App or by calling (714) 781-DINE (714-781-3463). If a special diet cake is required, an order for one can be placed by emailing with your request at least four weeks in advance of your dining reservation.

Don’t forget to take plenty of pictures of the twins! You’ll want to cherish the memories from this trip forever! If you’ve added Disney MaxPass to your tickets, you’ll enjoy unlimited downloads of all of your Disney PhotoPass photos in addition to being able to make digital Disney FASTPASS selections!

Have double the fun as you celebrate the birthday twins at “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
