We are planning on taking my son to the Magic Kingdom on his 3rd birthday June 8th. I was looking to do a character lunch or dinner for his birthday. Which restraunt would be the best for a three year old to really enjoy? any thing else special for him?

Hi Cristina - What a great birthday present for your son!

I have two character meal recommendations for you.  The first is the Crystal Palace which is located right at the Magic Kingdom.  The Crystal Palace offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and is buffet-style.  My kids especially love the dessert buffet with soft-serve ice cream!  Crystal Palace features characters from Winnie the Pooh, and it's really a beautiful setting.

The second suggestion is Chef Mickey's, located at the Contemporary.  Chef Mickey's offers breakfast and dinner and features Mickey and Pals.  It's one of the most popular character meals, and a great place to see Mickey.

You can also pick up a happy birthday button at guest services to help celebrate your son's birthday!  Have a great vacation!
