We are planning on taking my 2 girls to the Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall on Jan. They are 2 and 1. Is there a charge for children under 3? How long will it take us to get there from the Wilderness Cabins? Thanks!

    Hi Colleen,

Dining with princesses seems to be every little girl's dream come true!  Taking your girls to Akershus right now is perfect because they are FREE.  Children under 3 not only get into the parks for free, but they can share off of your plate for no additional charge.  As a mother of a two year old, I truly appreciate this - especially since your girls will probably be too excited to eat much anyway.  It's all about getting some one on one time with their favorite Disney royalty.

The easiest way to get to Epcot from Fort Wilderness Cabins is by bus.  The bus ride is about 15 minutes but you'll want to factor in walking time to get to both the bus stop and the restaurant.  I'd plan on leaving at least 45 minutes (maybe even an hour) before my scheduled reservation.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
