I am planning on taking my first disney Trip on April 30th and May 1st, however when I go online to see the reservations coincidentally that's when the days are left out. I am scared to buy the tickets and then not being able to make the reservation.

Hey there, Esmeralda! Welcome to planDisney and a big congratulations on planning your first trip to Walt Disney World!

I understand the fear of being left without park reservations after purchasing tickets! Planning a trip to Walt Disney World is a multi-step process, but I'm happy to guide you through this part. By checking for theme park reservation availability beforehand, you can be sure that the days and parks you prefer have reservations available. Once you pull up the calendar, you will see an option for park availability for "Theme Park Tickets." You can also choose to view availability for "Select Resort Hotels" if you've already made reservations at one of these resort hotels. These calendars show availability through this year and beyond. I personally love when I see green on my dates because this means I can choose any park to visit on that day!

Esmeralda, I'd also recommend making your park reservations immediately after purchasing your tickets. It is always more fun and stress free to plan your trip knowing you already reserved your spot in the park on the days you want! Now, you can focus on the magic!

I hope you have a wonderful time on your first trip to Walt Disney World! If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to help!
