Planning on taking our first cruise through Disney January or February of 2020 around the Bahamas. Are those months too cold for the ships pools and slides?

    Hi Katie!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations on planning your first cruise with Captain Mickey! I remember my first Disney Cruise like it was yesterday! I'll never forget the feeling I had stepping into the Lobby Atrium and looking up at the gorgeous chandelier. I couldn't believe how beautiful and grand the interior of the ship was!

You're planning a voyage to not only one of my favorite destinations, but during one of my favorite months to set sail, too! I have great news for you. For the comfort of all Guests, the water temperature in the pools onboard each Disney Cruise ship is heated to at least 75 degrees! If the outside temperature feels a little chilly, you'll still be able to have a splashtacular time in the water and on the slides! I've sailed to Alaska twice aboard the Disney Wonder and loved swimming in the pool with the backdrop of the Mendenhall Glacier!

Katie, I'm wishing you an inaugural voyage filled with pixie dust and sunshine! I'm sure you'll have "Minnie" more questions while you plan for your cruise. Please don't hesitate to come back and visit us again! We're here to help you navigate through the planning process!
