We were planning on taking a family trip to Disney when the kids are 7 & 8 years old and going for Christmas in December. I have recently heard from friends that 7 & 8 is too old and the "magic" of Disney won't be experienced by the kids

Your children are not too old to experience the magic of WDW. My first trip was at the age of 11 and I’m still in awe of this wonderful vacation place.

Your kids will be entertained by Disney storytelling around every corner. It’s a place where dreams come true every day.

For example, they can become a Jedi Apprentice at the Jedi Training Academy or take a pirate oath with Captain Jack Sparrow in the Magic Kingdom. Have they ever wondered what it is like to fly at light speed? They can find out on Star Tours at Hollywood Studios. My 8-year old son says it’s fun and bumpy when you reach light speed. He also says that kids will have a great time on Test Track going through the vehicle tests and then going really fast around the outdoor track.

Christmas is an extra magical time of year at WDW.
