Hi, Sarah!
I’m glad to hear you’re planning a vacation to the Disneyland Resort, and February is a wonderful month to visit. Crowds tend to be lighter, hotel prices are generally lower, and the Southern California weather is typically mild that time of year, with low temperatures in the high 40s and high temperatures in the low 70s. The only factor to be aware of with regard to the weather is that February is usually one of the rainiest months of the year in Anaheim.
There are several character dining locations to choose from, including Plaza Inn at Disneyland Park, Ariel’s Grotto at Disney California Adventure Park, Storytellers Café at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa, and PCH Grill at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. One of my favorite character dining selections is breakfast at Goofy’s Kitchen, which is located at the Disneyland Hotel. In addition to buffet-style breakfast food, Goofy’s Kitchen also offers brunch items, made-to-order omelets, a variety of desserts, a soft serve sundae bar and more food choices specifically for kids. My son loves the Mickey-shaped waffles and the pizza choices, which include peanut butter and jelly and macaroni and cheese! While the character lineup varies from day to day for all of the character breakfasts at the Disneyland Resort, Pluto is often found there, and other characters we met during our most recent meal included Dale, Rafiki, Goofy and Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother. Plaza Inn also has a great character selection, which always includes Minnie Mouse.
Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance by calling (714) 781-DINE (3463). I hope this information is helpful, Sarah, and that you have a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort. Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
