We are planning on taking our daughters (13 and 8) to WDW for the first time October 15-25. Can we book a hotel package now and if a good deal comes out at a later date(such as free dining ) can you still add that on? Do you recommend that?

Hello Heather!  Thanks for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Your daughters are at great ages to visit Walt Disney World, you are going to have a magical time!

October is a beautiful time to visit Walt Disney World, one of my favorite times to go.  The decorations are so festive and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is in full swing and so much fun.  If you haven't considered attending the party, I recommend looking into it.  I would suggest going ahead with booking your Walt Disney World vacation.  If a Free Dining Promotion becomes available and your trip meets the specifications, you can call and upgrade at that time.  I also wanted to let you know that you can book your dining reservations 180 days in advance and some of the tastiest spots fill up quickly.  If I were you, I would go ahead and book my vacation and then be planning out Park days and where to eat.

Have a fabulous time planning.  If I can answer any of your other questions, please feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
