We are planning on taking my daughter in November 2015 to Disney World. She has been once before but she will be 3 this time. Any recommendations on character dining? Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Amanda ~

My boys are growing up going to Disney World and it is so amazing to watch their interests change as they get older.

Character dining is always a must do on our trips. When my boys were smaller, they loved (okay, they still do) the classic Disney characters. Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is a great place to meet the Fab 5 (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, and Goofy). They currently serve breakfast and dinner. It is a convenient place to have breakfast on the day you plan to visit the Magic Kingdom (MK).

Another great character dining location is The Crystal Palace in the MK. You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet. If you get an early breakfast reservation and depending on park hours, you may get in the MK before it opens that morning. It is awesome to walk down Main Street, U.S.A. with only a hand full of other Guests. There are some great photo opportunities.

If your little princess loves Disney Princesses, dining with the princesses is a must do. One great location is Cinderella's Royal Table in the MK. Another fabulous princess dining location is Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot.

Please keep in mind that character appearances are always subject to change. You can make advanced dining reservations beginning 180 days prior to your trip. I'd recommend that you make yourself a reminder to start booking as soon as possible to get the best selection of dining times. You can make reservations through the link shown above or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Please feel free to keep the questions coming. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
