I am planning on taking an adventures by disney trip to Disneyland. Do I get a physical ticket to get into the park or is it put onto my phone? Also will I need to make reservations for the days we are visiting and do I need to buy Genie + for rides?”

We're always happy to see you back here again and I'm thrilled to see that you're headed to the Disneyland Resort this time! Not only that, but you'll be part of an Adventures by Disney tour group as well! Talk about the ultimate way to travel in luxury and experience the white glove treatment for which Disney is so well-known. One of my personal bucket list items is to experience an Adventures by Disney trip, so I'm very excited for you!

From the dates you've provided, I'm guessing that you're partaking in the Disneyland Resort and Southern California Adventure. Your itinerary looks absolutely fantastic and I've heard so many great reports from others who have taken this Adventure! I was able to connect with a Vacationista Cast Member who provided the following details about your upcoming Adventure:

• You will receive a physical 4-day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper ticket upon arriving at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa on Day 3 of your Adventure. This ticket can then be scanned and linked to the Disneyland Mobile App (be sure to download this prior to your trip) for your convenience. Even better, if you have a MagicBand+, you may link it to your ticket as well so you won't have to even take out your phone.
• The tickets will already have reservations attached to them, so you do not need to make your own reservations prior to your Adventure.
• Genie+ is not included with your ticket and guests are free to purchase this service on their own. However, you will be given 10 Lightning Lanes to be used throughout the length of your stay at the Disneyland Resort. These will automatically be loaded on to your ticket. 

How wonderful that you'll get to see the Disneyland Resort during the Holiday Season! It's a fabulous time to visit and the decorations are so festive. If you get a chance, the Mickey Gingerbread Cookie is absolutely delicious and CANNOT be missed! When you are on your own for lunch at the Parks, I've always enjoyed my meals from Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo in Disneyland Park. If you find yourself rumbly in your tumbly at Disney California Adventure, the Festival of the Holidays is scheduled to return and I'm sure you'll find several delectable dishes on offer.
