We are planning on surprising our boys with a trip to California a a couple of days at Disneyland for their first time. What is suggested for a 10,12 & 14 yr old boys? What can I expect from crowds and can I add club level to my package?

    Dear Jeanie,
What a fantastic way to give your boys a Magical surprise!
If you're at the Disneyland Resort now, you're likely enjoying a gorgeous Holiday environment! Holidays at the Disneyland Resort officially started on November 10, but guests can generally catch the winter wonderland chEAR several days prior.
In terms of activities for boys, at the Disneyland Park, my recommendation is always: Tomorrowland!
In Tomorrowland, your boys can ride Space Mountain, test their target shooting skills on Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters, take part in Jedi training, enjoy the cheesiest slice of pizza at Redd Rocket's Pizza Port and even meet Darth Vader and Chewbacca inside the Star Wars Launch Bay! I would say to give yourselves 2-3 hours there to take in all of the out-of-this-world fun!
At the Disney California Adventure Park, I have two words: Paradise Pier!
You can start at Games of the Boardwalk and let them engage in friendly competitions against each other in old-school game booths for a chance to win adorable Disney gifts (Our favorite is the fishing game because everyone leaves a winner)!
Next you can take them to Toy Story Midway Mania! and depending on their willingness to have a major thrill, California Screamin' is the way to go (although the ride will soon be closing to become the new "Incredicoaster").
    I hope this helps!
Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
You've got a friend in me!
