Greetings Daphne, I'd like you wish you a very Royal welcome to planDisney!
I always love being able to connect with fellow Canadians as they
make plans to venture down for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and it's fantastic that you're planning this as part of a surprise for some very lucky grandchildren. As you start planning, be sure to keep a vigilant eye on any
special offers that may become available before you book!
You'll be happy to hear that it is absolutely possible to break up your day by starting off at one of the Theme Parks,
heading over to one of the Water Parks and returning back to a Theme Park in the evening. This is one of the great perks of adding the Water Parks and Sports option to your Theme Park tickets, especially if you're
staying at a Disney Resort Hotel to take advantage of
the complimentary transportation across Walt Disney World Resort.
My husband and I do this very often on days when we'd get up early to
join a Virtual Queue for a popular ride like
TRON Lightcycle / Run and cool off during the warmest parts of the day at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park. Whether it's the remarkable amount of stairs that you climb for the thrilling water attractions or
being battered by the giant waves, it always seems to work up our appetites so it's nice to know that we can pop back into a Theme Park to dine after freshening up.
With all of the new offerings and updates coming over the next few months, I highly recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog to stay current with the latest and greatest news for things that your family will be able to enjoy together. Come back to planDisney any time you'd like
more personalized advice or tips to help you plan this vacation for the grandkids, and I just know it'll be the best surprise ever when they find out!
