Hi! Planning a surprise trip this summer, end of August, and I’m curious if we are close to an announcement for opening date of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure?! I’m sure we won’t make it, but I’m still hopeful!

    Hello Rheann!

Sing it with me: "I'm almost there!" I cannot wait to splash into the bayou with Tiana and her pals. But the best dreams take some time, right?

I'm sorry to say that I don't have any official updates on when Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Disneyland Park will kick off the party. But oh, it is going to be a PARTY when we get there! So far it looks like the attraction is still planned to open in 2024. While we wait, there are some other wish-worthy spots you can visit to enjoy a little taste of New Orleans!

How about some beignets to hold us over, hmm? Tiana's Palace is glowing brighter than a firefly and waiting to welcome you! While you can use the Disneyland Mobile App to place an order here, I like to wait in the regular line so I can go inside and see all of the decor and breathe in the delicious smells. Tiana knows what she's doing in the kitchen! You can also do a little shopping at Eudora's Chic Boutique nearby, Tiana's mama has some lovely housewares and fashion. Blue skies and sunshine are guaranteed!

If you're the kind of person who likes a little (or a big) sneak peek then there's plenty of news from the Walt Disney World Resort about their version of Tiana's Bayou Adventure that opens this month...those lucky guests! While I'm sure there will be a few surprises for Disneyland Park guests, I do love this post from the Disney Parks Blog that dives into the story and design of the attraction in Florida. Walt Disney Imagineering sure knows how to make some magic, Mama Odie must be so proud!

Rheann, I wish I had more exciting news for you! When you're in Disneyland Park you might want to take a ride on the Disneyland Railroad to see if you can catch a little peek of the bayou. Hopefully we'll be enjoying the bayou real soon!

    Keep moving forward!
