We are planning a surprise trip for my 2 soon to be3yo, my question is do I need to count her in the reservations I am booking since she is not yet 3?

    Hi, Lane!

Aw, a surprise trip for your darling princess!  How exciting!  Even though she is under age 3, you will still want to include her in all your reservations.  At meals, she will still need a seat even though she is welcome to share off your plate.  (Kids menus are available for her to order from if you choose to pay for her meals.) You will only be charged for what you order, not the number of guests on your reservation so make sure to include her in your count.

For your room reservation, you will want her included so WDW knows exactly how many are in your room.  Also make a note on your reservation if she will need a pack-and-play for nap time and bedtime.

Make sure to pack all the necessities of Disney life:  a stroller, sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, snacks, and always carry a change of clothes (believe me, I speak from experience!)  Keep us posted on your planning and drop by to the Moms Panel again if you have other questions.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
