I am planning a surprise trip to MKD in March for 9yr old step daugher a FL resident plus my 3 kids, 4yrs, 2yrs and 1yr. Any tips to make it fun/interesting/exciting for 9yr who goes several times a yr and for 2 adults and 3 littles who have never been?

    Hi Stacey,

I would encourage you to include your step-daughter's suggestions as you plan your trip to the Magic Kingdom. (Meanwhile you can keep the trip a surprise for the younger children).   If you ask her to contribute her Disney expertise to the planning of your adventure, she will be more invested in its success.  For instance, ask her what she most enjoyed at Walt Disney World when she was four-years-old.  I bet she would then love to share that experience with her four-year-old sibling.  Sharing her Disney memories with you and her siblings might be a great bonding experience for all of you.

Be sure to book a character dining experience while you are there.  That's something children of all ages can enjoy, and just think of the lovely photos you will have to remember your special day!
