I am planning a surprise trip for my daughter's 7th birthday in May. She has never been to Disney. I also have boy/girl twins that will be 2 years 2 months. My husband and I are would like to plan but have no idea where to start/stay/activities etc

Your daughter is just going to love her first Disney trip.    I remember my kids first visits - its just magical.   Here are a few suggestion to start with, especially given your two younger ones.

First, I would suggest staying at one of the Disney resorts.   One of my favorite tips for traveling with younger children is breaking up your day and returning to the resort for either rest or going to the pool.   Your young ones may really benefit from this, especially given the May weather which may be warm.   By staying on site, its not only convenient, but would allow you to take advantage of Disney's transportation and the Expanded Magic Hours that only resort guests can use.    For activities, you may want to schedule soon any princess or character meals you may be considering.   If your daughter loves the Disney princesses, either a meal at the Cinderella castle or the Princess breakfast at Epcot are great choices.

Disney can take care of all your planning needs or you can start searching yourself by reviewing their planning site   .   Good luck and enjoy!
