I am planning a surprise trip to celebrate my sister's 18th birthday & high school graduation. It'll be both of our first trips to Disney, and I'm so excited to surprise her! While she'll be turning 18, I'm 26. Any ideas/tips?

  • Welcome home, Megan!

Thank you for sending your great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love to sprinkle first-time Walt Disney World Resort visitors with extra Pixie Dust! You have chosen the best place to celebrate. What a wonderful surprise! First and foremost, I highly recommend you visit the 'Customize your Celebration' page for tips and ideas. On this page you will find information on how to order your sister a custom cake, plan an In-Room Celebration and much more.

For a fun and unique celebration, I suggest a visit to Tri-Circle-D Ranch at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. At Tri-Circle-D Ranch it's a "cinch" to enjoy Horseback Trail Rides, Carriage Rides and Wagon Rides. This "hidden gem" even allows you to meet the beautiful Main Street U.S.A. horses. It's an absolute dream come true!

To finish off your magical day, hokey pokey your way over to Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, also located at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Get ready for the rowdiest, funniest and most unique Dining experience in the "World". In-between giggles, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat buckets of fried chicken, BBQ pork ribs and mouth-watering cornbread. It is finger-lickin' good! You can make reservations by dialing (407) 939-3463.

Quick Tip: For an even bigger sprinkling of Pixie Dust, don't forget to pick up a complimentary "Happy Birthday!" pin for your sister at any Resort hotel or Theme Park.

Megan, please wish your sister a happy birthday from the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Have an unforgettable time!

    Wishing You a Magical Vacation,

    Priscila
