Greetings from the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Let me start off by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your youngest prince!!! There are so many fun things to do for his birthday like
reserving a special birthday cake to be delivered to your room OR to one of the Disney restaurants! OH, and don't forget to pick up a Happy Birthday button at your resort check-in or at any of the Disney Park Guest Relations areas.
My family has visited Walt Disney World in May for the past three years. As far as weather is concerned, I think this time of year is the best time to go! The weather temperature is not too hot, and in my experience, it does not rain as much as you would see in the middle of summer.
For my family, we always plan our Disney vacations for six-nights, so here are a few things I always do to ensure a TIGGER-ific vacation:
1. Make sure you arrive at the Disney Parks 30 minutes before rope drop! The early bird really does get the worm at Disney! I promise you will be able to enjoy shorter lines before the mass of humanity shows up two-hours after the parks open.
2. Make
Disney Dining reservations! Don't spend your time waiting for a walk-up reservation or stressing out over what your family is going to eat. Take the time now to reserve your dining reservations, and don't forget to tell them you are celebrating your son's birthday!
3. Bring snacks and make sure you hydrate! May has great weather, but the sun will zap your family of their Disney excitement. We always bring snacks to eat in the attraction lines and bring refillable water bottles for hydration. It's also a good idea to have a fan-mister as well.
Have a MAGICAL day!
