    We are planning a surprise Christmas Trip for 2017. I was wondering if the Mickey's Christmas Party required a separate ticket if we are using the Military Salute Park Hopper Ticket? Are the in room experience's worth the money?

    Hi Brandi! It is great you are able to use the Military Salute Tickets for your upcoming Disney trip.

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a completely separate ticket even for all guests no matter what kind of tickets they hold. You will need to purchase these and when you know which date is good I suggest you purchase them as soon as possible as they will usually sell out for each party. When you have this ticket please remember that you can actually enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm even though the party doesn't officially begin until 7pm. That gives you extra time to enjoy the fun of the Magic Kingdom.

    The Disney In Room Celebrations are indeed fun and many pretty extensive. I have ordered them in the past for my children or grandchildren and can tell you they are done very well. The fairy godmothers sweet into your room while you are away and leave such great magic behind. I remember my grandson's reaction to this day when he saw that Mickey had left his footprints behind on the floor. He would not let anyone touch them the rest of the trip!  It is never easy to say if something is worth the money. Everyone has a different budget and where they want to spend that money is a very personal thing. I love the in room celebrations but I also know I cannot do this for every trip with the family. I wait for special occasions and surprise them for those. I do know that the Disney Floral and Gifts do a fantastic job with all of them!
