Hi Angela,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What a wonderful surprise you are planning. Well now, let us get ready to spread some happiness!
Given that you probably will spend some quality time at the resort, I would recommend a deluxe or deluxe villa resort with a balcony or patio. Two of our favorite resorts are Disney's Polynesian Village and Disney's Contemporary Resorts - they have rooms with spectacular views. If your parents are coffee drinkers, they may enjoy waking up and having a cup while watching the sunrise. No matter which
resort hotel you choose, I recommend staying on property.
One of our absolute favorite restaurants is California Grill. We always dine here at least one evening during the Happily Ever After fireworks. I make the reservation for about 30 minutes prior to the fireworks time, then we always arrive at least 20 minutes early and request a window table. Requests are not guaranteed but any view from the restaurant is great!
Angela, another of our favorite restaurants is 50's Prime Time Café. When my mom and her sister first dined in this restaurant, they just laughed because it brought back so many memories. We also adore The Edison at Disney Springs. There are a number of other signature restaurants your parents might enjoy. When I am looking for something very special for my family to do, I always review the
Enchanting Extras Collection. We have done the Caring for Giants tour and Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room. On our next trip, we are doing the Dine with an Animal Specialist experience.
No matter what, cherish this anniversary. The joy comes from being together to celebrate it!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
