Kimberly,
This is a great time to begin planning your summer vacation. July is a very busy month and the week of the Fourth will be one of the busier weeks of the summer due to the holiday. However, with some careful planning you can make the most of the really amazing celebrations going on for Independence Day.
On the actual Fourth of July, parks often fill to capacity, so if you plan to go to a park on that day, be sure to get there at park opening and stay put so you don't risk not being able to get in!
The
fireworks that day will be extra special and something you won't want to miss. However, if you would rather skip the parks and the crowds that day, enjoy your resort pool or possibly a water park instead. If you happen to be staying on property in a resort close to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot, you may even be able to watch the nearby fireworks from your resort pool or beach.
Whether you choose to go that weekend or not, one of my greatest tips to offer for those traveling during busy times is to plan at least 3-4 must do activities or rides and get to those first, that way you aren't stressing about missing out on something you really want to do. Overwhelming yourself with trying to cram as much in a day as you can will minimize your fun and the stress might make you miss out on special moments.
Thanks for stopping by and asking me a question and if any others arise once you have solidified a travel date, I'll be happy to assist with further planning and ideas.
