Hi! I am planning a summer trip and the kids want to spend time at a FANTASTIC pool. Is there a resort that has a great area for swimming and hanging out during the day? Thanks!!

    Hi Temple!

It is so great to hear from you again!  I always recommend at least one day of your vacation be spent poolside at your Disney Resort.  Not only are the pools totally amazing, but it is a great way to wind down between busy days at the theme parks.  Each Disney Resort has a main pool with a pool bar that offers munchies and "adult beverages."  The main pool area also offers Coast Guard certified life vests for anyone to use free of charge.  So which pool reigns supreme???

Without a doubt, my favorite pool in the entire world is Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts!  Amazingly, the bottom is actually covered in sand for a true beach experience.  Not to be outdone, you can also find a lazy river and massive shipwreck slide as well!  It is important to note that only guests staying at one of these two resorts may visit the pool - resort IDs will be checked.  You can grab a great burger and eat at one of the many outdoor tables, or sip on a Mojito from the comfort of a lounge chair!

Honestly, every pool on property is pretty darn fabulous and worth a day's visit!
