    We are planning on going in the summer 2017. Are there any plans for night time adventures at Animal Kingdom?

    Hi Mandy,

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am sure everyone in your household is excited about going back to the Walt Disney World Resort. The summer of 2017 is a highly anticipated time for most of us who love Animal Kingdom. Pandora - The World of Avatar is scheduled to open in the summer of 2017 although we do not have an exact opening date yet.

    When I checked the park hours for June and July, the park is set to stay open until 7:00 p.m. My family has enjoyed the evening safari on Kilimanjaro Safaris and we love to ride Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain as it gets dark. We were able to experience Animal Kingdom later in the evening last summer when we visited in July and it was especially magical! Unfortunately, we do not yet know if Animal Kingdom will be open past 7:00 p.m. this coming summer.

    You can always check out the Disney Parks Blog for more sneak peaks at Pandora - The World of Avatar. Remember also that The Rainforest Cafe is a beautifully themed restaurant that is typically open after the park closes.

    I do hope that Pandora is open in time for your visit this summer!
