Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We were planning on staying at All Star Movies. But I started looking at Caribbean Beach Resort and it looks so nice! It will be me, dh, dd4 and dd7. This will be all our first trip and first family vacation! Which do you suggest? Thanks!!

    Hi, Laura! I'd stick with All Star Movies. From my experience with staying at Caribbean Beach, I wasn't feeling the Caribbean love as indicated in the hit song Kokomo from the hit movie Cocktail starring the famous actor Tom Cruise.  

    I think Port Orleans offers a more stand-out experience when comparing the ambiance of a moderate with that of the value All Star resorts.

    Seeing as it's your first vacation to Disney World, I'd sit tight with your plans to stay at a value resort. The quality of a Disney value resort is top-notch, especially when compared to what your preconceptions are for a "value" resort in other parts of the globe.
