We are planning on staying at POFQ in 8/2014. How does the boat taxi service work to DTD? Does it run on a regular schedule? We plan to head to DTD on our first night for dinner at T-Rex. What else should we be sure to see at DTD?

    Hi there Amanda,

I absolutely LOVE Port Orleans Resort and in my opinion, one of the best perks of staying at this resort is the relaxing boat ride over to Downtown Disney via the Sassagoula River.  The boats to DTD begin running around 11 am and will arrive about every 20 minutes until around 4 pm when they will begin arriving every 10 minutes.

You guys are gonna love T-Rex Cafe and after dinner, I suggest checking out the fabulous shopping and entertainment before heading back to Port Orleans.  Be sure not to miss the World of Disney Store.  I could get lost in there for hours!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
