I am planning on staying at the pofq in April with my 4 and a half year old and husband. Is this a good choice in a moderate or do you suggest another for my daughter? Also thinking about the quick service meal paln?

    Hi Traci!

Thank you for visiting the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

I was lucky enough to take a look around Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter last month, and I would say this is definitely a good choice moderate resort, with a charming atmosphere and attractive grounds to explore.

Your daughter will enjoy the pool, Doubloon Lagoon, which has a water slide that resembles a giant sea serpent.  There is also a playground.

The Quick Service Dining Plan would be a good choice because there are two quick service restaurants at this resort - Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory Food Court, and Riverside Mill Food Court. These food locations serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you are using the 2012 Quick Service Dining Plan you are entitled to two quick service meals and two snacks per person, per night, and one refillable resort drinks mug per person, per package.  These mugs are eligible for free refills at the above quick service locations at your resort.
