Hello there, Ruth! Thanks for cruising back to planDisney with more questions. It's great to have you with us.
I really love the convenience of staying at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport. It's so nice to have a short walk from your arrival gate to your hotel room! I'd be happy to walk you through what you can expect. If you have added a
ground transfer from your hotel to
Port Canaveral, you can expect an email to be sent from Disney Cruise Line with more details regarding the procedures for your embarkation day to be sent about two days before your sail date.
Disney Cruise Line will send your luggage tags via mail a few weeks before your sailing. Be sure to bring those in your carry-on luggage as you travel. The email you receive will outline what time you need to have your luggage ready to be picked up by bell services. You'll want to have your Disney Cruise Line luggage tags placed on your luggage at that time for the luggage pick-up. You will also be given a meeting time and location to check in with a Disney Cruise Line representative for your ride to the port. You will need to have photo identification for everyone ages 16 and up in your travel party to board your motorcoach to the port.
That's about it! Then you can sit back and enjoy the approximately one-hour ride to the cruise terminal. The best part of that journey is the moment that you can spot the ship waiting for you! So much fun awaits onboard! If you have any further questions, please set sail for planDisney again. My pals and I are happy to help.
Bon Voyage.
