    Planning on staying at the Grandfloridian Hotel in Nov. with my DD 8, DD 6, DS 4. We plan on going to MK, DHS, & AK and do or catch as many activites we can. But wondering what we should not miss at our hotel as well. Very excited. LOVE, LOVE, the p

    Hi Diane:

    Congratulations on your upcoming stay at the sophisticated-but-fun Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  Your family will love this Resort, right on the monorail line. 

    With two daughters, one activity you should not miss at the Resort is the shopping.  You'll find a number of high end boutiques and shops in the Resort.  Spend some time window shopping and checking out what's for sale.  I would also consider taking your family for an afternoon of tea, Disney-style.  Your family will also enjoy a character meal at 1900 Park Fare. 

    You can also take advantage of the watercraft rentals at the marina. There is also a famous spa and health club.  If you want to eat at the wonderful adult-only restaurant Victoria & Alberts, you can reserve spots for your children at the Mouseketeer Childrens Activity Center.
