We are planning on staying at the DL Hotel. We will be renting a stroller from an offsite company Do we need to be present for the delivery or can it just be dropped at bell services? Thank you.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Jo, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’re hEAR! It’s so exciting to have something to look forward to right now, so this is the perfect time to start planning! Plus, I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians, so let’s get started!

First off, I’m so happy to hEAR you’ll be staying at the Disneyland Hotel… it’s my family’s favorite place to stay! I think my children could enjoy the monorail waterslides for hours. There are even smaller waterslides for younger Mouseketeers, so there’s a little something for everyone.

As a mom of three children ages 8 and under, I understand just how important a stroller is for your visit! I’m happy to report that you won’t need to be present for the delivery of the stroller – just head to Bell Services after your arranged drop-off time. I recommend bringing your reservation information to have on hand, just in case it's needed. My family recently rented a double stroller from ScooterBug while traveling to Walt Disney World Resort, and I was very impressed with the experience. My drop-off time was 9:00 AM, so I headed to the Bell Services desk around 9:30 AM and found my stroller waiting for me. Then, I dropped the stroller back off at Bell Services before my return time on our departure day. I really enjoyed the convenience of this option. Plus, it was helpful to have the stroller during our entire length-of-stay, to help transport our little ones back to the hotel when they were sleepy. Just remember that you’ll need to fold the stroller when boarding the Disneyland Monorail – there’s a stop in Downtown Disney District for a ride to Disneyland Park and back.

Since it sounds like you have little ones, you’ll also want to get familiar with the Baby Care Centers, located inside both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. These Centers are the perfect spot to change, nurse, feed, or take a break. You can also purchase any baby or toddler necessities you may have forgotten to pack.

Last but not least, I recommend downloading the Disneyland app – it’s my favorite handy helper inside the theme parks! I love using it to mobile order food when my little ones are cranky… it has saved me from many toddler meltdowns!

Please stop by with any additional questions, Jo! I’m all EARs!
