Planning on staying at the Carribean beach resort so I can use the Skyliner. Which Island section should I stay in that is closest to it so I don't have walk so far. I'm 70 years old.

Hi Toni! Welcome back to planDisney!

Oh, how I adore the Disney Skyliner! It has quickly become a favorite mode of Walt Disney World transportation, and for good reason. It is super cute, quick, and comfortable. What a great addition to transportation options!

When staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, you will probably want to request either Jamaica or Aruba as your preferred location. Jamaica is right across the street from one of the nearby Disney Skyliner stations, and Aruba is very close to the station that Disney's Riviera Resort shares. Depending on what building you are placed in Trinidad and Barbados, you can also be fairly close with a short walk across the water. Plus, Barbados is close to Old Port Royale which means quick access to the lobby, shops, and dining.

If you go to the map of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort at the link I just shared, you can zoom in and out to see the different areas of the Disney Resort hotel. This can help you decide which location you think is best for getting around to the Disney Skyliner, as well as all the amenities.

I hope this helps, Toni! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
