    We are planning on staying at the Caribbean BR starting January 13, 2019. Will the construction on the check-in, dining, and shopping areas be done by then? This is our first stay there. Do you have suggestions for building requests?

     Betty, I'm so excited to hear about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. You are sure to have a magical stay!

     My family just loves Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. It's a tropical paradise! I have great news for you. Old Port Royale opened today! It's here you'll find the new, beautiful lobby that features lots of natural light and comfortable seating. Calypso Trading Post, the merchandise location, is now open too! Your visit is perfectly timed to enjoy all the new dining locations at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. I'm especially looking forward to trying Sebastian's Bistro. The menu looks incredible! There are five, unique "islands" at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. I prefer the islands of Jamaica and Aruba. These areas are a bit quieter, but just a short walk across Barefoot Bay to Old Port Royale. Jamaica and Aruba also both have a convenient bus stop! To make a room request, simply call the Disney Reservation Center at (407) 939-1936. 

     The Disney Parks Blog recently announced 19 new and limited-time experiences coming to the Walt Disney World Resort in 2019. I can hardly wait to experience all the magic in the new year!
