planning on staying at Caribbean resort. are the preferred rooms worth the extra money? also can you get a preferred room with a water view?

Hello, Wayne, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a great choice of resort hotels and you will benefit from the many Disney Resort Hotel Amenities which are unique and convenient. Nothing beats Disney magic 24-hours a day!

Preferred Rates and Room Types at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are in Martinique buildings 24, 25, 26, and in Trinidad North. The benefit with these rooms is that they are closest to Old Port Royale which has the food court, sit down restaurant, main pool, and gift shop. These rooms are also close to the separate check-in and Front Desk building called, Custom House. Booking these rooms depends on your specific needs, budget and preferences. If you will be using the facilities in Old Port Royale extensively, you may wish to consider booking these rooms for added convenience.

Some Preferred Rooms with water views would be in Martinique buildings 24, 25 and Trinidad North buildings 31, 32. Not all Preferred Rooms in these buildings have water views, you would have to specifically request them during booking or during your Online Resort Check-In process and are subject to availability at the time of booking or during Online Resort Check-In.

    Tips:
May I suggest the Pirate Adventure Cruise to hunt for hidden treasures and "Movies Under the Stars" complimentary Disney movies near the main pool.

    Magical wishes.
