We are planning on staying in the camprground in October 2012. How close is the campground to the parks to maybe eat at the camper during the day without wasting time going back and forth? I have some picky eating kids :) we are staying 8 nights/4 parks.

Hi Richard - there is definitely some commuting time involved in going from Fort Wilderness to the parks.  The Magic Kingdom will be the easiest, as you can take a boat back and forth, but it's still not super close.  You may consider either going back to Fort Wilderness for lunch and a swim, or bring some food with you to the parks.  You can bring most items in, with the exception of rolling coolers, glass containers, or alcohol.

I hope that helps!  Have a great vacation!
