We are planning on staying in the cabins at the fort so I plan on doing most of our cooking there but would like to plan 2-3 meals out. What would be the best places to make reservations for two girls age 12 and 9 and one boy age 4? Can't decide!!

Hi Aimee,

My boys and I love visiting the Fort. It is one of our favorite resorts. There are so many activities and special events, that you almost don't need to go to the theme parks. (Notice, I did say "almost!") I'm a huge fan of character meals for a special family night out. My kids love Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and we all think it's the quintessential character meal on property. Our other favorite dinner spots include Ohana at the Polynesian Resort, TRex at Downtown Disney and Rainforest Cafe at either Animal Kingdom or Downtown Disney. All of these venues offer incredibly well-themed atmosphere's and offer a perfect way to end a Disney day.
