We are planning on staying at Bay Lake for our next trip but would like to have a pool day at anothr resort. I know pool hopping isn't allowed but would we be allowed to rent a cabana at, say, the Polynesian Resort?

A stay at Bay Lake Tower is on my must do Disney list, Peter.  I'm sure you're going to have a lovely stay.  Unfortunately,  you will not be permitted to rent a cabana at a resort that you're not staying at.  I received a similar question about a month ago and called to get a straight answer.  I was told that cabana rentals are reserved for guests of the particular resort at which the cabana is located.  What you might consider, though, is renting a polar patio at Blizzard Beach or a beachcomber shack at Typhoon Lagoon.  Those are probably the next best thing.  For more information, call 407-WDW-PLAY.  I hope that helps!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
