We are planning on staying at the art of animation for our visit in october. Is this a good resort for families with small children? Any info you could give would be great.

    Hi there Lara,

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is one of the newer resorts and like all of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, this one is geared toward families and children, especially.  And to be honest, I really feel like the Disney Imagineers outdid themselves with this property making it PERFECT for families with little ones in tow!

Different areas at Art of Animation are representational of some of Disney's most beloved animated films and when you arrive, you will feel as if you have been shrunken down and inserted right into these films. The elements are larger than life and extremely immersive surrounding you with everything you love about Disney and these films that we have all grown to love through the generations.  All of that asisde, this resort features one of the largest pools on Disney property and several amazing dining options as well.

While there are standard rooms available, this resort is known for it's Family Suites that offer extra room to spread out with the gang.  Themes include Cars, Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Little Mermaid (standard). Your kids will truly feel as if they are a part of their favorite movies because each room is themed to the max and the design style is subtle enough that parents will enjoy the magic also!

Hope this helps, and please don't hesitate to write back to me with any additional questions!
