Hi, 1. I am planning on staying at art of animation in little mermaid room. Can you advise which rooms or sections are closest to the food court and pathway to take the buses to the theme parks? 2. Can I request paper plates/cups/cutlery for the room?

    Welcome to planDisney Liza!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is pure Disney magic. There is no doubt you are at Walt Disney World when you stay at this resort. The theming is amazing and you just get that happy feeling when you walk around this sprawling property.

The Little Mermaid section of the resort houses Standard Rooms, which means each room will have either 2 queen beds (or 1 king), 1 bathroom, and a mini fridge. Rooms with 2 beds can sleep up to 4 guests. These rooms are the farthest away from the lobby and transportation, but there is the Flippin' Fins Pool in the middle of the 3 buildings so that is a super nice feature. Count on about a 10 minute walk to the bus stops which are outside the lobby entrance. Buildings 7 and 9 are just a bit closer to the lobby are than building 8.

To get a Family Suite at Art of Animation, you will want to select Cars, Finding Nemo, or Lion King. The Family Suites sleep up to 6 guests, have 2 bathrooms, and a mini fridge and microwave. These suites are perfect for a family if you want extra room to spread out, and the 2nd bathroom is the best feature when you have kids!

Your Little Mermaid room will have paper cups. For additional cups or for plastic cutlery or paper plates, stop by the Landscape of Flavors food court.

Enjoy your stay "under the sea" in your Little Mermaid themed room!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
