We're planning on staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village in a 1 bedroom villa. I understand that there are 2 bathrooms, and I will be bringing my 6 month old with us. Will a pack n play fit in the smaller bathroom next to the kitchen?

    Hi Angela,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question. I’m thrilled to hear that you’ll be staying at my Disney Vacation Club “Home” Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village. I just came back from a stay there and every time I drive through that gate, it really does feel like home to me.

Your understanding is correct: there are two bathrooms in a One Bedroom Villa at Kidani Village: a bigger bathroom just off the master bedroom and a smaller one just beside the kitchen. We like staying in the One Bedroom Villas specifically because of the extra space and amenities that they offer, especially when travelling with a little one.

From what I remember, a “pack n play” style portable crib may fit into that second bathroom, but it might be a tight fit. If that doesn’t work for you, there is typically a bit of space beside the dining room table, just in front of the kitchen. I used to use that empty area to store our stroller, baby paraphernalia and even my son’s portable crib when he was itty bitty. There would also definitely be space in the larger bathroom – it really is massive!

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect Disney Parks vacation with your wee one.
