I am planning on staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in Disney World. I have a two year old and four year old. Has anyone ever used there babysitting service there? My husband has never been and we were thinking of using the service for a night.

    Hi Ashli:

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is my home Disney Vacation Club Resort. The Animal Kingdom Lodge features a supervised Kids Activity Center, Simbas Cubhouse. However, Disney World's Kids Activity Centers are for children between the ages of three and 12. So if your two-year old will not be three (and potty trained) by the time of your vacation, you will not be able to use the Kids Activity Center.  However, there's another option. You can reserve an in-room baby sitter through Walt Disney World's preferred childcare provider, Kid's Nite Out. We've used the service and were very pleased with the babysitter we were provided. Their caregiver will arrive with appropriate activities for your little ones. Kid's Nite Out caregivers are interviewed, screened, and provided with childcare training as well as a Disney Orientation. To confirm rates and find out more information, you can contact Kid's Nite Out at 1-800-696-8105 or online at kidsniteout.com.

Enjoy your vacation and your "adult nite out."
