We are planning a stay at the Yacht Club. We are up and out early. Is there any place to eat at hotel that opens up at 6 a.m. for breakfast sandwiches? If not, any suggestions on where to eat that early? Thanks!

Hey there, Jody! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and boy, oh boy, is that true at Walt Disney World. Fueling up before you head out to tackle the Theme Parks, water parks and all the other great activities can keep you going at least until your lunch reservation. Here are some ways to start your day off right at Disney's Yacht Club Resort.

It may surprise you that the earliest spot to get breakfast at Disney's Yacht Club Resort is actually a lounge. The posted opening time of Ale & Compass Lounge is 6 a.m., serving Continental breakfast items like muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt parfait, and an egg white croissant, along with coffee, juice, tea and other beverages.

You also have the option of 24-hour room service. If you go this route, just note that you'll have gratuity, delivery charge and sales tax added to your total.

If you don't mind planning ahead a little, you can visit the Beach Club Marketplace and pick up some milk, cereal, muffins and other breakfast items and stash them in your room for a quick meal before you head out the door. There are also grocery delivery services available, like Garden Grocer, that you can use to stock up for your whole vacation. Each room has a small refrigerator for perishables, so you can get everything you need for a healthy breakfast.

I hope this helps you kick start those busy Disney days, Jody. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions.

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
