Hot dog, Minkail! Welcome to planDisney. So, you're planning a trip to Disneyland Resort soon? Mickey and I think that sure is swell!
The first thing you'll want to do is speak with a Disneyland Reservations Cast Member specializing in Vacation Packages; this includes your theme park tickets and your hotel stay. They can be reached at (714) 520-5060 and are available seven days a week from 7 AM to 9 PM PST. If you want to stay in the "Disney Bubble," meaning highly themed guest rooms and close proximity to the theme parks, I recommend booking an official
Disneyland Resort hotel. Otherwise, the
Good Neighbor hotels offer accommodations to fit any budget near the Disneyland Resort.
Ask your Reservation Agent about adding
Disney Genie+ Service to your theme park tickets. Genie+ is an optional add-on that replaced the previous MaxPass program at the parks. It gives you access to the Lightning Lane Entrances at select attractions instead of waiting in the Standby queue. Another nice perk is that you receive unlimited Disney PhotoPass Digital Downloads. The Disneyland website has some helpful
video tutorials.
Lastly,
dining reservations are offered up to 60 days in advance at select table service restaurants throughout the Disneyland Resort. Scheduling a sit-down lunch or early dinner in the parks allows you to take a break and recharge. Two of my favorite places are
Cafe Orleans for their Monte Cristo sandwich and
Carthay Circle Restaurant, modeled after the theater that premiered Walt's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. You can make your reservations on the Disneyland website or the Disneyland Mobile app.
Minkail, if it has been a while since you've visited Disneyland Resort, there are new additions, including
Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park and
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland Park. I cannot wait for you to experience it all! See ya real soon!
