    We are planning to stay at Port Orleans. My sons are 2 and 5. This will be our first trip to Disney. Do you think this is a good choice for a resort? If so, what amenities at this resort would you recommend taking advantage of? Thanks!!

    Hi Tara,

    First trip to Walt Disney World that is so exciting!!!  We stayed at Port Orleans this past March and had a great time!!! There is a lot to do at the resort, you and your family will have a fantastic time!!

    The pools are great and are a must do!
    There is also daily pool activities--(pick up the schedule when you arrive)
    For an additional fee there is the horse drawn carriage ride, fishing, bike rentals.

    The whole family will love movies under the stars that happens nightly.

    You can hop on the boat and head to Downtown Disney--there are so many great shops and restaurants! Your boys will love World of Disney store, and the Lego store!!
