Hi, we are planning a stay at the Port Orleans Riverside in a coulple of weeks and requested a garden view room. Are those rooms available in the mansion area ,or will we be put in the bayou area? (my wife would prefer the less rustic looking rooms)

    Hi Cornelis,

Thanks for visiting the moms panel!  You have made an excellent resort choice, my family and I absolutely love the atmosphere at Port Orleans Riverside, the Sassagoula River and Cotton Mill are absolutely amazing! The resort has may wonderful amenities as well, I'm sure you will have a great time.

Unfortunately, all of the garden rooms are located in the Alligator Bayou section of the property.  In order to have a garden view in the mansion area of the property the room category that you would need to book would be the Royal Guest Room - Garden View. Even with the more "rustic decor" the resort is hardly rustic, it offers breathtaking views, and with a garden view room, you will get to take full advantage of the resort's beauty.

I wish I could have given you better news Cornelis, if you have any other questions, please come back and visit the moms panel.  I would be happy to help make your vacation even more magical!
