    Planning 2014 stay at POR from 11/26(Wed before Thanksgiving)-12/3. I know that, in the past, room discounts and free dining do not include Thanksgiving week. How do discounts work when arriving mid-blackout week and staying beyond the blackout period?

    Great question!  Promotion offers are valid on your check-in date.  So, if you're checking in on a date valid for a promotion (November 22, for example), it will be valid throughout your stay.  This is how it's worked in the past.  When booking your reservation, make sure to confirm this, as policies can change from time-to-time. 

    Typically speaking, if you're checking in the day before Thanksgiving, you'll be in that blackout period already.  I would investigate promotion dates AFTER the 29th or 30th, as you might possibly get a promotion after that time frame, but you'd need to make an additional reservation for the remainder of your stay, and meet the booking requirements for the promotion (minimum resort stay and ticket purchase).
