Planning to stay at the Polynesian and want to try the Skyliner. Suggestions? I'd love to head over to Hollywood Studios that way.

    Hello Annette!

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is an amazing Walt Disney World Resort in the Magic Kingdom Park area! I know that you are going to love staying at this fabulous resort. You have an excellent idea to include a flight on the Disney Skyliner during your Walt Disney World vacation!

There are many ways to get to one of the four Walt Disney World Resorts that have Skyliner Stations using the complimentary Walt Disney World Transportation System. These Resorts are:

    Disney’s Riviera Resort
    Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
    Disney’s Pop Century Resort
    Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

My recommendation would be to take the Resort Monorail from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to the Magic Kingdom Park (it will be your second stop after boarding the Resort Monorail). Once at the Magic Kingdom Park, get on a Disney bus that is heading to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort which is the main station or hub for the Skyliner. When you get to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort get on the Skyliner that is going to Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you want a longer Skyliner experience, then take a Disney bus from the Magic Kingdom Park to either Disney's Pop Century Resort or Disney's Art of Animation Resort (this will give you two legs of Skyliner to experience). This route will take at least 60 to 90 minutes but will be worth it for you to be able to experience the Skyliner.

I hope you get to experience the Disney Skyliner on your next Walt Disney World vacation!
